What is an RCE?

RCE Saskatchewan is a voluntary network whose founding partners include the University of Regina, University of Saskatchewan, and SaskPolytech. Acknowledged in 2007, we are one of 200 Regional Centres of Expertise on Education for Sustainable Development around the world.

An RCE is not a physical centre or building, but rather a network of individuals, organizations and experts who are committed to using education as a tool for building a sustainable future.

RCEs bring together institutions and community partners at the regional/local level to jointly advance sustainability through education. We build innovative platforms to share information and experiences and promote dialogue, learning and action for sustainable development.
