2025 RCE SK award recipient humbled

James Whittingham started the Clean Energy Show Podcast with friend Brian Stockton from their homes during COVID, and were surprised when a listener nominated them for an RCE Saskatchewan Award. “We work in isolation and sit in our own homes… We get letters from people, but I’m not usually out talking to people who are actually doing hands-on [sustainability] work, he said.

“I’m very privileged to be among those people, and we are extremely, extremely honoured to receive the recognition,” said Whittingham (Youtube) after receiving his Innovation Award for Outstanding Contributions to Rewable Energy Advancement and Energy Innovation in Saskatchewan.

RCE SK recognized 45 Saskatchewan sustainability initiatives at its 17th annual recognition event on May 30 at Luther College, University of Regina. See Livestream Video. All the projects focused on educate, encourage and engage others in local action that helps meet the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
